It is a beautiful man- made lake in heart shape. Dubai love lake located in the  middle of the desert near Al Qudra in dubai.  Al Qudra lake is one of them, surrounded by lush greenery, dunes, and fauna. This lake is designed in the shape of two intersecting hearts. Two hearts over an area of 550000 square metres. Along the water , the word "Love" is written in the sands with vegetations. This romantic scene is created with over 16000 trees and thousands more flowers. These are all selected to survive in the desert climate. Along the way you can find heart shaped structures adorned with flowers and plants. Love lake is a great place to stay overnight in Dubai for free. Love lake is also known as Al Qudra Lake. This is a great picnic spot for a weekend getaway. The best place to visit for nature lovers.

 

Opened in November 2018, the Love Lake dubai. Gained popularity after an Instagram post by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai crown prince and chairman of the executive council of Dubai.

It can easily qualify as the most romantic place in Dubai. The first set of hearts that welcome to you the park, is the large wooden carving on the entrance. There is love every where in the air , on the top of the trees, on the sands, and even the water. There is awesome collection of Flowers and Plants. Branches of the trees begonia and Shrubs. Everything is in the hearts shape.

Near the entrance, there is a map of the lake and the park. Therefore you can find each areas of this lake. From here , you will witness the most beautiful sunset in Dubai. The best time to visit love lake is an hour before sunset. Love lake is much more than just a BBQ spot or a place for an evening stroll. Without any doubt, it is one of the innovative attractions in Dubai. These place is so peaceful and serenely. You can spend hours in the park just looking at everything around you and listening to birdsongs. This lake is a great park for jogging and picnicking. Cycling is one of the most enjoyable activities in Al Qudra as it has the best cycling route in Dubai. You will be able to find all types of cyclists riding through the dunes in the desert. The track is 86 km long and open 24 hours, and free for all. If you want to rent a bicycle, you can head to the tech bicycle store its open from 6:00 am to 10:00 am .  There are two main starting points for cycling (1) Al Qudra cycling car park (2) Tech bicycle store. There are no residential centers nearby, you won't see many joggers here. You can get your feet wet and walk in the water. You will find signboard are making the shallow portions of the lake. 

One of portion of the lake is a fish pond teeming with koi carp and gold fish. But these fish are perfectly safe to touch, and don't bite. The lake is also home to tilapia, but its shores are covered with beds, which make the place even more attractive to birds. Instagram spots in Love Lake park, all of them in different shapes and forms of the heart. Love lake park is one of the most photogenic place in Dubai. There are innumerable spots all over the lake that are perfect for a selfie. Love lake is eco-friendly, the park benches to tissue boxes are made of biodegradable materials. You can even see basins made of Bamboo and tree. There are lot of wooden park benches for you sit and enjoy the views and there are swings of large three benches if you like some fun.

There is a fenced area, know as Hadirah in the park with picnicking facilities, like running water, BBQ stands, Benches and washrooms. There are 3 jogging tracks in the park. Which stretch over total of 7 km. There is a heart - shaped badminton court which you are not allowed. It is only for snapping pictures. If you plan to spend an evening with your loved one or friends and enjoy some quiet time, love lake is better option for you. The Al Qudra lake is not just one lake . This lake is a heaven for  birds and it is the habitat for at least 175 species of birds like Glossy Ibis, Ruddy Turn-stone, Caspian Plover, Sanderling, Gull-billed Tern that prefer coastal areas. Mainland and migratory birds like Rosy Starling, Eurasian wryneck, Common Starling, shrikes, Wheatears, eagles, and falcons, are also spotted there. And it is a spot for bird watchers. The entire lake is surrounded by hundreds of different types of trees, including hundreds of olive trees and the richness of the gaff, the 'national tree of the UAE'. No doubt you will see black and white swans busy soaking up the sun and swimming in the calm waters of the lake. There are also some  dangerous species of birds, sometimes you can see free-roaming ghazals, foxes and rabbits. 

As the area is located in the desert away from the busy roads and skyscrapers, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the orange sky as the sun sets over the clouds. You won't see the heart shape only a curved lake. To get the entire picture, you will have to be at least 50 M above the ground, so your only option is to fly a drone or to get on a helicopter.
If you feel hungry,  This location has snacks and dining options for you. You can choose  anything from Al Qudra last exit. This place has drive-thru and outdoor seating options. You can buy your food from one of the food trucks. If you want to freshen up, there is a toilet facility here. It is open from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. located at the entrance of Al Qudra. 

Love Lake Dubai Location.

It is located in the center of the Saih Al Salam Desert on the southern outskirts of Dubai. Love lake dubai is located along the Al Qudra road approximately a 45 minutes drive away from dubai. Al Qudra road can be easily accessible via Dubai - Al Ain road or Emirates road . Depending on which way you are choosing from. 

Things to look out for.

• Entry to the park is free.
• Don't feeding animals, cutting plants, feeding the animals, littering, hunting, and killing are strictly prohibited there.
• Wheelchair is not allowed. It is a friendly place.
• If you plan to fly with drones, make sure to get permission from the authorities.
• High heels are not allowed in some parts of the park
• There is a special area set to do BBQ, Just  try to grill there.
• Avoid littering. There is a lot of animals And species and disposing of waste incorrectly can cause them here.
• There are limited facilities at Al Qudra, so make sure that you have prepared for everything. 
• Wear comfortable clothing, and if you visit in the evening, be sure to wear warm clothing as it can feel cold at night. 

Camping here is free outdoor activity for you. Carry your sleeping bags, camping gears, tents, torches, etc. It is necessary that you follow the rules and always keep the place clean. The camping site is open 24 hours. Be sure to bring some picnic chairs, music, and snacks. Also this place is beautiful at night. this place is gorgeous at night.  Al Qudra Lake entry is free for everyone.
