Enjoy the greenery and views of the free-to-visit Expo 2020 Lake in the middle of the desert in Dubai. Located near Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport, this area has a large lake and many trees. Built by the Dubai Municipality, the lake attracts many people, entry is free, and celebrates the fact that Dubai is hosting the first World Expo in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region.
This man-made lake is a wonder. The site includes walkways to the 'island' surrounded by water. A bird's-eye view from the top showcases the logo. The design of expo 2020 lake when looked by with a birds eye view is actually the same as the expo logo design. This was actually a project from the government for Expo 2020.
The best time to visit Expo Lake is in the winter months, from October to March, because at that time, the weather gets pleasant and a bit cold, making it easy for people to spend a few hours or maybe an entire night at this stunning place. You can spend a whole day on a picnic with your friends and family and return after watching a beautiful sunset. If you want to camp overnight around Expo Lake's vegetation, you can. You can also bbq and spend a whole night in the tent.
Enjoy a beautiful sunset sitting amidst the greenery of Expo Lake. Gaze at the stars all night long after a barbecue meal. Click some amazing pictures to keep this amazing place as a memory. Enjoy quality time with friends and family near small waterfalls and ponds.
