Singapore Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020

Singapore Pavilion embodies that great lesson that new technologies can reclaim the past of agricultural integrity. The greenery spreads on both sides and upwards show the colours of various Flowers and plants. The Singapore pavilion covers an area of 1550 Square kilometres. The pavilion is made up of gardens divided into different regions.

The Singapore pavilion shows that every family can live in abundance in spite of the challenges, including climate changes. Techies say even homes can be designed to the same way. A wide variety of vegetations are planted here. Developers of the pavilion said hundred of variety plants were cultivated and more than 50,000 plants were used to cover the Singapore Pavilion.

There is a pond full of rarities in the garden on the ground floor of the pavilion. It contains a varieties of flowers, shrubs that can be neutralized by chemical gases, and small fish that can destroy aquatic pests. The energy for the lighting and machinery in the pavilion can be obtained from the roof free of charge. Solar panels provide the energy. Morethan 500 Solar panels have been installed on the roof.

Upstairs there is a large collection of flower plants. We can see flowers of different colours there. There is also a large collection of different types of Orchids. The theme of the Singapore pavilion is Nature, Nurture, Future. Large number of trees are planted around the pavilion so it does not get exposed to direct sunlight. It can also withstand sandstorms. More than fifty fans have been installed in the pavilion to provide cool air.

The Singapore pavilion designed by WOHA Architects. Singapore pavilion is multi layered three - dimensional green space that reflects Singapore vision of becoming a city in nature. The pavilion was built by the develpoers using a combination of technology and landscape. The Singapore pavilion features a number of technologies that prove energy - efficient technologies can be implemented in the most cost effective manner. There will also be guides to explain the views of the pavilion.

A system called Waste Eco Digester is used for this purpose to remove the waste generated in the pavilion. The water used to irrigate the thousands of plants is groundwater that is desalinated with Solar energy Coming from the Photovoltaic panels.

Visitors can looking forward to a lot of programmes and events. Including guided tours, film Screenings, performances talks and discussions.

Singapore pavilion is located in the Sustainability District, between the Netherlands and Czech republic pavilion, and just a few metres away from the Earth Plaza.

The views from the Singapore pavilions are breathtaking. It seems to be closer to nature. The Singapore pavilion at the Dubai Expo is a great sight.
